DeviDham Silvers · Last updated 23 September 2026
This policy explains what the DeviDham Silvers app collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the mobile apps and the web app. Our Terms & Conditions govern your use of both.
Who we are
Devi Dham Silvers India Private Limited (“DEVIDHAM SILVERS”), CIN U47733AP2025PTC118857. Registered office: DEVIDHAM SILVERS, Corporate Office, 2nd floor, Jain Plaza, Opp: LIC Building, Vijayawada – 520002, Andhra Pradesh, India. Questions about your data: contact@devidhamsilvers.com or +91 99932 19991.
What we collect, and why
| Data | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Mobile number | It is how you sign in. We verify it by OTP; we never see your password because there isn't one. |
| Name | Shown on your account, your receipts and your maturity voucher. |
| Email and postal address | Optional. Used to send receipts and to deliver or hold jewellery you redeem. |
| PAN / GSTIN | Only when your payments in a financial year cross the threshold Indian tax rules set for us. We ask before that point, not after. |
| Payments and scheme history | Your installments, the silver they bought and the rate on the day. This is the record of what you own. |
| Device notification token | To send you due-date reminders and payment confirmations. You can turn notifications off in your phone settings. |
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites, and the app contains no advertising SDKs.
- We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials — those are entered on the payment provider's own secure checkout.
Who else handles your data
- Google Firebase — sign-in, database and notifications. Data is held in Google Cloud.
- Cashfree Payments — processes your installment payments. They receive your name, phone number and the amount, under their own privacy policy.
- Messaging providers — deliver your SMS, WhatsApp and email reminders.
Each of these receives only what it needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
Your account details are kept while your account is open. Payment, receipt and tax records are kept for as long as Indian accounting and tax law requires us to keep them — typically eight years — even after you delete your account. Those retained records have your personal details removed from them.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app: Profile → Delete my account. You can also request deletion here. That page explains exactly what is erased and what we are legally required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@devidhamsilvers.com and we will respond within 30 days. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act you may also raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer at the same address and telephone number.
Children
The app is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
